These terms apply to your use of SFLDems.com ("South Florida Democrats," "we," "us"). By using the site or submitting a form, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this site is

SFLDems.com is an independent grassroots community. It is not an official party organization or election office, and it is not authorized by any candidate or candidate committee unless a page says otherwise.

Information on the site

Race data, election results, maps, deadlines, calculators and the campaign playbook are provided for general information only. They may be unofficial, incomplete or out of date. Nothing here is legal, financial or campaign compliance advice. Always confirm deadlines, rules and results with your Supervisor of Elections, the Florida Division of Elections, the FEC, or a qualified professional.

Signing up

When you submit a form, you confirm that the information is yours and accurate, and you agree that we may contact you by email and use and share your information as described in our Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Meetups and events

Meetups are organized by volunteers and community members, not by us unless we say so. We do not screen hosts, attendees or venues and are not responsible for what happens at any event. Use common sense, meet in public places, and look out for each other. If you host, you are responsible for your event, including following venue rules and the law.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, harass or impersonate anyone, submit someone else's information without permission, spam our forms, scrape the site in bulk, or interfere with how it works. We may block access or remove information at our discretion.

Our content

The site's design, text, graphics and data compilations belong to us or our licensors. You may share links and quote small portions with credit. Anything you send us, including suggestions and event ideas, we may use without owing you anything.

Other sites

Links to other websites are for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we and the people who run this site are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site, its information, or any event you learn about through it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site, which is zero.
